Welcome to MIND!

Malaysian Information Network on Disabilities

Welcome to the Malaysian Information Network on Disabilities (MIND). You are visitor number 27963.

BAKTI is proud to present to you the premier resource for disability-related information in Malaysia. This website is created based on an information-needs survey done in 2004 by the BAKTI-MIND project. The wide spectrum of information provided here are related  to health-care, rehabilitationeducation, employment, assistive technology, equipmenttransportation, barrier-free environment, and possible social-assistance services which are available in Malaysia. This information can provide Malaysians with disabilities opportunity to lead a more independent and productive life. In fact, by virtue of the hyperlinkages that have been established, relevant information is made borderless geographically. This in turn would give Malaysians opportunity to share the same information with any one else in any part of the world. Hence, it is our earnest hope that  the information presented can be used by PWD to lead quality life of their choice, help to ease the burden of care and an option to overcome the inevitable challenges that life presents each passing day.

As you browse, please feel free to send us any feedback or comments so that we can serve you better.
